Router Multijig

The milling template helps in creating the oval recesses required for mounting the connectors. The template has three clearly marked holes. The first hole is for the Type 1 Metal holder, the second for both Type 1 Fix and Type 1 Bonded, and the third for Type 1 Flush. We have auxiliary lines at our disposal that indicate the center of the button, the vertical position of the connector, and a ruler with 5 mm distances. Both Type 1 Fix and Type 1 Metal have 3mm diameter holes for marking mounting locations if required. If it is necessary to embed the holder in the board, set the template in the desired position. For your convenience, the center lines of the oval pockets are marked on the template. Secure the template to the workpiece using clamps or countersunk screws (maximum Ø 4.5 mm)

What is BUTTON-FIX?
The Button-fix concept is simple: durable buttons are attached to the back of the board and a matching connector is screwed to the surface of the adjoining board. Then the two plates are placed on top of each other and closed until a “click” sound is heard.
